{2008 was great! Bring on 2009!|

Disclaimer: I'm not very Blogger savvy on my Mac so all of the pictures start most recent and go to January, not the intention I had but you get the idea...

Putting this post together made me remember how truly blessed we are. 2008 was an amazing year, I started blogging, wonderful memories were made, loved ones lost and a lot of growing up!

Here is our year in review...

and we are exhausted!
We had an amazing Christmas, we are so blessed...
Chad's hair got really long!
We lost Grandmama, I inherited her pearls though so she is always with me, I don't think I have taken the earrings off!
We cheered on the Bulldogs, even if they did disappoint us...
Poochie started seminary...
Charlotte turned 2!
We redid our backyard...
Celebrated the 4th of July with my family.
Played a lot of golf, I didn't play a round until this year!
Celebrated our 2nd Anniversary in Mexico.

Celebrated my 27th Birthday with a delicious meal with friends and parents in Athens.
Went to the Masters.
I got baptised...
Had lots of Supper Clubs with dear friends...
Celebrated a wonderful Valentines day.
And played in the snow!
2009 will be a wonderful year, we have lots of plans and hopes. I will have my 10 year reunion {Goooo Comets!}, we will celebrate our 3rd Wedding anniversary, we are going to Biloxi with friends and who knows what else! I can't wait to see what God has in store for the Eubanks, I am sure it will be amazing.

Now I have to get back to preparing for our big 30th Birthday Party/New Years Eve extravaganza!!! Happy New Year and God bless!!!

{Renaissance Man}

We don't give gifts to Chad's coworkers for Christmas, we normally bake. This year Chad wanted to make them a SUPER SPECIAL goody, and he made it all by himself! Quite the renaissance man I have on my hands. If anyone has ever made a cheese cake you know how tedious it can be, he did a great job and I am sure the guys at the funeral home loved it!

{it is slap your momma good. I know, I almost slapped Big Val the first time she ever made it...}

Poring the batter into the pan, after he pondered why in the world he put vinegar in a cheesecake...

Baked and settled, 3 hours after we started!!!
Making the cream cheese icing, YUM!!
All done!
This really is an amazing desert, it has a chocolate crust, red velvet cheesecake and a cream cheese icing. Heaven on a plate!

{May the merry bells keep ringing!}

We had another weekend full of Christmas festivities, or "holiday festivities" to encompass everyone!
On Friday evening we had my work party in Buckhead at the most wonderful restaurant, Brio. It was fun to see everyone from work all dressed up in their cocktail finest!

{Me, Chad and Tony- Tony worked at Porche here in Atlanta. You know that sassy white Porche Kim in the Real Housewives drove, yeah Tony sold it to her, or Big Papa, whatever...}

Saturday I bought Chad a couple of more gifts, so did Charlotte, while he worked. Y'all, the Brooks Brothers outlet had almost everything 40% off, it was BANANAS! It was a nice relaxed Saturday and Saturday night.

Today we had a wonderful Christmas program at church, there was a live "baby Jesus" and EVERYTHING. Chad was fascinated they used a real baby, it was quite funny. We also had interpretive dance, I know Daddy will be sorry he missed that- he is a HUGE fan.

Tonight was my Supper Club Christmas party and this year Delaine hosted. We had a wonderful time and Delaine and Mike have done an amazing job on renovating their home! I always enjoy my time with these girls. As I have posted about before, we have all known each other since High School so there is a lot of history, I always laugh so hard.

So it was another wonderful weekend full of Christmas cheer. Only 5 more days of work until Christmas break and only 7 more days of work in 2008!!!

Tonight we wrapped presents and watched Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas. It is a classic and it is NOW officially Christmas in the Eubanks' house.
