{50th Post- 50 things about me}

  1. My husband is a funeral director.
  2. I have 2 brothers, one is 11 years older and one is 3 years younger.
  3. I am blessed by having 3 AMAZING sisters in law; it makes up for being the only girl.
  4. I have 3 nieces and 3 nephews. All are just the cutest kids ever.
  5. I drive 45 miles to work, one way. And, in the #1 city for traffic, the ATL.
  6. I have never been to Canada (or anywhere in Europe but London).
  7. When I met Chad I was 22 I thought he was “too nice”.
  8. Now I can’t get enough nice, he is perfect for me.
  9. I am certified to teach art education.
  10. Chad and I only dated for 10 months before we were engaged, we were married 10 months after that.
  11. I would love to live in Athens or Madison, I love quaint Southern towns.
  12. I regret never living in Manhattan.
  13. I went to the same college as my dad, brothers, brother in law and all 3 sister-in-laws.
  14. My parents have the most AMAZING seats in Sanford Stadium, 50 yard line 30 rows up.
  15. I am still friends with most of my “group” from high school.
  16. I love Art.
  17. I was an Art major for 2 years in college. I changed majors because everyone thought I was weird- I only had one hair color and no piercings.
  18. I think girls a crazy. I work with mostly mid-late 20 something girls and they make me want to pull my hair out.
  19. I want to do something creative- art, interior design, magazine publishing {I want to be 30, flirty and thriving!}
  20. Instead I work at a marketing company as a project manager, we sell insurance to bank customers. Not creative, at all.
  21. I love to read.
  22. I think my wedding was one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen, even compared to t.v.
  23. We want to name a son Brooks, as in Brooks Brothers.
  24. If something is monogrammed I will buy it.
  25. I love my married last name; I especially love an E in monograms.
  26. My grandmother cut the Phipps Santa Clause’s hair. I thought that was amazing.
  27. I met Celine Dion, she is the smallest person ever.
  28. I wish I could have met Jackie, I love a beautiful brunette.
  29. I was not in a sorority, which shocks people.
  30. In my life plan I got married when I was 25. I was married a week after my 25th birthday.
  31. My wedding was the best party I have ever been to.
  32. I did not like St. Lucia, or Sandals.
  33. I loved Mexico, #32 and #33 shocked me.
  34. I have only live in Georgia and only in 3 different counties- Gwinnett, Clarke and Greene.
  35. I have been best friends with my BFF since we were 11.
  36. I love college football (mostly SEC), I hate NFL football.
  37. I hate to wear shorts; I mostly wear jeans or sundresses/skirts.
  38. My parents have been married for 32 years.
  39. My grandfather was the old man who shot the intruder when he broke in to their house back in March. It was all over the Atlanta news…
  40. I love the beach but I hate to get in the water.
  41. Deep water scares me, my chest tightens and I panic.
  42. I would love to buy an older home and renovate it.
  43. I am ready for kids, Chad is not. We will wait.
  44. I only want 1 child; everyone tells me it needs a sibling so I will have 2. {God willing}
  45. I do not want to win the lottery. I would rather own a successful business and make my fortune that way.
  46. We hope to own a funeral home one day. No, I will not do hair and makeup.
  47. I have never run in the Peachtree, I have live here all my life.
  48. Running the Peachtree and the AIG marathon are goals of mine.
  49. I am addicted to magazines; they are all over my house.
  50. I would much rather spend money on my house than clothes for me. Handbags and shoes are a different story though…

Did you watch Six Feet Under?...that show gave me a great appreciation for funeral directors!

I am the opposite - I would much rather spend money on clothes than stuff for my house! My sister is like you - house comes first. It was fun learning more about you!

Those were great! I'm like you...love the beach, hate getting in the water. I refuse to go deeper than my waist and that deep even bothers me.

#27 cracked me up! Growing up in LA I've realized almost everyone in Hollywood/entertainment is tiny (including the men)!
