It's almost my birthday folks! Two weeks from today I turn the big 2-8! {Only two years from 30 is kind of freaking me out!} I love my birthday, it is my favorite day all year long...

Here are a couple of items on my wish list for all of the birthday faries out there {Hey Momma!}:

Travel mug from Monogram Chick
Lilly Pulitzer Latte Da! Mug in Mumsie

Swoozies' Peace Love and Summer Tote bag

J Crew Swimsuit- I am obsessed with this bathing suit. I REALLY want it {CHAD, I am talking to you...}

Picnic Basket from Swoozies- we gave the red one at a shower a few weeks ago and it is so cute. Perfect for tailgating!

iPod Shuffle- we now only have one functioning iPod. This one is so cute {and cheep} and you can MONOGRAM it!!!
And money. I love to shop so the more money I have the more fun it is:)

{day off shenanigans}

I had a doctors appointment yesterday so I took the day off {I loose my vacation days if I don't use them so I am only working one full week in November!} Chad apparently gets Veteran's Day off as well {who knew!} so we got to spend the day together.

We went to lunch at Einstein's {yummy turkey sandwich!!} then we hit up Circuit City, well them must not be going out of business any time soon because only 10% was taken off of everything. No- everything must NOT go right now...I went to Old Navy and they are having a HUGE sale on outerwear, 50% off! I got this new coat for $50. The website doesn't have them at 50% off which is kind of strange...

Then we got CRAZY! We decided to head up to the North Georgia Premium outlets, not too far away since we practically live in South Carolina! Those are the BEST outlets- Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, Williams Sonoma, Kate Spade, Burberry, Coach, Cole Haan, the list goes on and on! Their Polo and Brooks Brothers stores are a lot bigger too...

It was a great day, I love when we have random days that have no plan!! And best of all- we only spent $50 at Old Navy!!

{I wish I had a 2 month Advent calendar...}

{Photos from all over the place...}

I can't believe that Christmas is less than two months away! When I was younger I would get the Service Merchandise catalogue in October and start my Christmas list for Santa. Well...it looks like being 27 doesn't change anything, I have already started my list! I have much more expensive taste now, here are some items I am really wanting...{from top left and around...}

1. Vera Bradly Morgan purse and kiss lock wallet in Cafe Latte

2. Pink Blackberry Curve

3. Black pumps- preferable Christian Louboutin or Manolo Blahnik

4. Cute "A" earrings from Urban Outfitters

5. A fancy new camera

6. Gift cards to J. Crew and Sephora

7. Ford Cares Breast Cancer awareness scarf

8. This cute calendar from The Paper Cafe

9. Williams Sonoma monogrammed glasses

10. Citizen Watch

11. Grandin Road personalized print

12. Personalized photo frame from Palm Gifts

I also want a Keurig personal coffee maker, some magazine subscriptions, the Sex and the City DVD and the Lands End clothes I blogged about last week but those don't make pretty pictures. So Santa, take note of what I want- I have been a very good girl this year!

{30 Pounds- Gone FOREVER}

I am excited to share that this weekend I reached my 30 pound weight loss, I am half way there! To celebrate I went shopping, none of my clothes fit me, a tough problem to have, I know...I was working on a budget so I knew I had to shop smart. Well where does a girl on a budget who wants cute things go?? Target of course! I got 2 dresses and a pair of black shoes, all less than $80. I was pretty proud of myself! Here is what I got:
I am not able to fully embrace the patent leather craze. All I think of is my childhood and the shinny black shoes that I wore to church. I like these though because they are a nice mixture of suede and patent leather...

I have this on today and I have gotten tons of complements. And best of all, it is a {drum roll please...} MEDIUM!!!

{Plates, Pineapples & Pictures}

This weekend I found myself at home alone, again, as Chad worked. I had cleaned all day long and decided to run up to the Braselton Antique mall to see if there was anything I couldn't live without. Our house could use some nick nack decorating touches and I thought that this would be the perfect place. I was right! I could have spent hours there, and made a scarecrow, Hoschton is trying to make the Guiness Book of World records by having the most scarecrows. They are aiming for 4,000- I don't think that many people even live in Hoschton! I have to admit, it is quite scary...

Here is what I got...2 geranium plates, 2 pineapple looking finials and 2 botanical birthday pictures.

I put the geranium plates above my sink. {Please ignore the fact that I have no curtains up in my kitchen...}

The two books {East of Eden and The Grapes of Wrath} along with the new finials went on top of the entertainment center...

And the 2 botanical birthday picture went in our bedroom above the dresser. We have 2 of the larger botanical prints in our foyer and when I saw these smaller ones of May and December {our birth months!} I knew they were meant to come home with me!

Up close of the print...

I could spend every penny I make on my house, I swear!

{Etsy and Pay Pal- I LOVE YOU!}

So I just caught up with the times and started a Pay Pal account, I never bought or sold anything on eBay before so I didn't need it. Well, as you all know I have now sold 3 items on eBay and have money in my Pay Pal account...

So today I am working late for the team {we are alternating throughout the summer so others can leave at 1:00} and it is so quiet so I head on over to Etsy to see what all of the fuss is about. Well let me tell you, it is AMAZING!!! I love it! I bought the 3 items below and used my eBay money, it was like free money!!! I am afraid that I may have a new obsession and I might go through my house this weekend to find items to see on eBay...

Cute head band from Precocious:

Super Cute earrings {they were $4.50 and $6!} from dangsworld
